Russian recruiting has made a long way since Soviet times but still has many challenges to go through — that's what we found together with RBC while studying what are the expectations from a modern HR manager.

We divided the history of Russian recruiting into three stages: Soviet staff departments, when people were assigned to work; post-soviet period with exhaustive search; modernity, where HR managers learn the ropes of the market economy.
